Roland Walker
I wanted to be a Bible translator since I was 12. At age 28, I moved to Indonesia with my family to do just that. In 1987 I shifted roles into helping others be more effective in their service to God. That eventually led me into relational skills training and coaching, and that’s where I met Andrew. Before, I found myself wanting to repeat patterns of judgmental thinking. My biggest challenge was growing out of that judgmental thinking but I felt discouraged every time I was reminded of my short comings. Changing ways of thinking is monumental. Growing to be more like Jesus in impossible without the power of the Holy Spirit. I began coaching with Andrew who was excellent, not only in the coaching skills he offered, but also in his warm and welcoming presence.
