“I have discovered that I am not alone …”

“I grew up in the church and have always known about Jesus, but have always had one BIG question, what did God specifically make me for? Where do I fit in His body (the church). I have always had titles/roles to play (mom, daughter, sister, etc.), but have never experienced that no kidding aha moment of discovering my “Why”. As I get older, I think more about fulfilling the purpose/calling God has fashioned me for. When your young you feel like you have all the time in the world to discover it, but when you get older you realize how short and precious life is and that you need to live more intentionally. I have recently experienced deep loss in my life and it has made me realize one of my biggest regrets would be going to the grave completely full and not emptied for His purpose.

Before, my biggest challenge was identifying my why? I didn’t understand what God created me to do and because of that I felt empty and embarrassed. Through coaching, I have discovered that I am not alone and I don’t have to put so much pressure to strive-strive-strive. I can only give away what I possess and that I need to be completely dependent on the Holy Spirit to work in and through me. Now I am confident that my identity is rooted in my relationship with Him, I am His daughter.” - Janet Evans
